Linda Stefenon Petersen

Brazilian National Team Member | Pan American Championship Medalist | South American Champion

Linda Petersen joined Nely’s School of Rhythmic Gymnastics at the age of 9 and has developed through every stage of our program. Through years of dedication, perseverance, and hard work, she has grown from a young beginner into an international medalist and member of the Brazilian National Team. Today, Linda is one of the most accomplished athletes ever developed by Nely’s School and serves as an inspiration to younger gymnasts throughout the program.

Linda’s journey is a testament to the power of long-term athlete development. Training primarily at Nely’s School throughout her career, she has achieved success at the state, regional, national, and international levels while inspiring the next generation of athletes in our program.

Before representing Brazil internationally, Linda established herself as one of the top junior athletes in the United States. In 2023, she became the USA Gymnastics Level 8 Regional All-Around Champion and qualified to the USA Gymnastics National Championships, a major accomplishment in one of the most competitive developmental levels in the country.

In 2024, Linda earned a bronze medal with Clubs at the USA Gymnastics Championships and was selected to the USA Gymnastics National Squad. She continued her rise in 2025, winning the South American All-Around Championship, multiple South American titles, and earning multiple medals at the Brazilian National Championships.

In 2026, Linda represented Brazil at the Pan American Championships, where she earned an individual bronze medal in Ball along with additional team silver medal. Today, she continues to represent Brazil internationally while training at Nely’s School of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
